This anime was so awesome, but that sad that L and Light dead… I think Near had to lose, Light really was justise if i would have death note i would do same thing… sad… it was last episode… The thing i wanted the most that Light become Shinigami… and about his dead… i knew he will die when i first time seen this version of opening, at end of opening Light standing in some of Deads world.

Honestly i wasnt disappointed when light died, i doubt i will when even Near dies. It just makes a good plot. But Near’s time in the show was short tho.

i felt the series ended right with justice being served. But the way the overall plot was presented, the events was either too convenient or just plain lame.

Fun to watch in the start, got irritating in the midle, drifted to mediocrity in the end.

I give it 4 out of 10.

it was really good anime but the ending really sucks if kira was sopposed ti die it shoud of been L not N if he was capable of killing L it would of been better if N died there and i ended with light winning well i would of enjoyed that type of ending more or Light beening discovered by L

The ending would have been alot better if Light won and Near died. Just to watch the main charcter die by Near who is introduced later on is really dumb, plus war and crimes will start back up people will die anyway so why not let light kill the crimnals.
