I am really convinced that there will be S3. Maybe BONES intentionally left some questions unanswered so that S3 is possible.

The appearance of the boy yin look a like is also a good indication that there will be S3. They don’t just show that boy for nothing right? Perhaps he will be the main antagonist in S3 and Hei would have to fight him.

If there is S3, I really hope that there will be a lot of Yin in the season. I just love her, and I am sure most of us will welcome her too.

Meh this was ok! But that’s it!!! Less action then the first season and I hate the lack of focus they put in Hei! The reason I enjoyed the first season was because of him not some fourteen year old girl who’s a freaking copy!!! The ending was one third decent but it could have been done better! All and all I hope for a better season in the future.

not a bad season…but it was too short and to crapy made. season 1 was much better then this one. starting by hei´s new characteristic in drinking, not very creative. but still i can say, it was NOT a waste of time watching it (kk the sailermoon transformations were it…sailer red!xD)

Dumb ending to a dumb series, was almost nothing like season one, complete waste of time.

So far its pretty clear as to the newly created copy world that suou ended up living happily ever after in. Its clear that BK201 got his powers back coz his star appeared and he killed Yin (Izanami)but i’m not too sure whether its true that somehow BK201 managed to use his powers to separate Yin from Izanami (refer to Jaye’s comment). Izanagi (Shion) said he made the deal with Izanama (Yin) and at the end you se a male with sliver short hair rising up seemingly from the grave after absorbing the sould or apparitions of some dolls or humans. I believe that’s the copy of Izanami (Yin) with the one difference of the gender, its the male copy of Yin which Izanagi (Shion) made. Perhaps his power is to obliterate the real world by killing either all the humans or contractors in it and in S3 BK201 with his renewed powers will fight the male Yin.

… Its over??? wheres the rest of the story? Where’s the bits that make it all make sense???

Ok… if anybody’s wondering what happened to Yin, I think that hei got his powers back(he’s inside the gate so he can wish for it to happen)and changed Yin with his power to change matter by breaking it down to atomic level. Therefore, I believe that he seperated ‘Yin’ from ‘Izanami’ and basically ran off Shion, by collecting all the memories of the world and literally ‘copying’ the whole world, made sure there was somewhere that Suou could belong.

ok basically what happened was shion created a new world for Suou to live in. He made a perfect copy except without himself in it (his father pointed out there would always be one thing different). July was taken to that other world created by shion bec yin granted his wish (thats why she took his soul from him). The REAL world was the one shown to us viewers where hei was carrying yin and also what was left of it after “Izanagi” met “Izanami”. if i understood, the 2 characters were yin and shion. Shion, the one who created the copy world for suou and Yin who granted his wish. Even tho july was a doll i think he loved her thats why he chose to follow regardless he knew what was going to happen.

and if u want more story on Hei w8 for the OVA releases

its obvious that hei killed yin since they’re still alive at the ending. May be the one holding July was Hei.Too bad suo’s memories didn’t return. I haven’t watch it full coz buffer got off to 18:10.

Just one question…WHAT HAPPENED IN THE END???!!!

This season is totally about that Girl, Suou only.

Many things about the sydicate haven’t explained. So lets wait for season 3 xD

THIS FRUSTRATES ME AND IM GOING TO EXPLODE!
i love the first season so much! i have it on dvd and it makes my day to put any episode on. when i learned of season 2 it made me so happy and they made it out that it was a hei x yin season. but it wasnt =.= and i didnt care and kept waiting for it to get better. BUT IT DID’NT! the one thing i hate is when main charaters die or lose their memory, even if its for the best. they did the 2 things i hatee! i want to erase it from my memory! just kill me now T_T what happened to hei and yin? his just going to keep walking with her body? AH! the ovas better explain everything =.=’
im going off to curl up in a ball and try and forget this season ever exsisted. they ruined my fav anime T_T

I’m somewhat confused and annoyed at the lack of know what the fuck just happened.

At least the first season made sense..

The first series was so much better and this episode kinda blows – I expected Hei to get a climactic action scene after getting his powers back.

Huge disappointment considering the character development of Hei was left in series 1 and the “Izanagi” meets “Izanami” theme still confuses the hell out of me – if any fellow shippuudener can explain it, would be much appreciated.

there will prob be a season 3 but this season and story is totaly over. sou is gone and this was her story, not heis this time. sad ending but nice. depression . i dunno though this season was rushed n not the greatest of stories. they only did to milk the DTB series which upsets me cz it kinda ruins the picture u paint wen u finish the first season. all in all i liked it cz its dtb (even though just a spinoff) but it missed alot of the feelin and atmosphere. it was just too rushed. still sad that its ended. guess all we cna do is hope that season 3 ( if theres gna b one) will be as kickass as the first DTB S2

For me this was very disapointing, was an amazing anime series which to me was in the process of evolving its story, NOT concluding it.

Aswell as that I found the whole episode rather confusing, lots of questions unanswered and also alot of it didnt make sence. The whole episode in my opinion felt rushed and i reckon that if they took their time and continued the anime clearly explaining what actually happened then it would have a better ending.

too bad it’s the last episode…but the ending is ok..it’s not that bad..so those who says it’s a crap..u just want more of this cool anime that’s why..for me it’s also a crap cuz i also wanted to have more of this anime!!..Darker than Black rockss!!..more DTB more…!!..

it’s already confirmed that ep 12 is the last one, there will be OVAs coming out next year, the time will be set within season 1 and 2. It explains how stuffs got to this.

Abt season 3, although I really wished one, but it doesn’t looks likely since most of the mystery is already revealed in this episode and the coming OVAs. unless they wan to further explain in deatil of the Gates~
