nagisa looks the same you see her when ushio is 5 during that song (dongo song with diff lyrics) towards the end of the last episode her tomoya and ushia are all together and ushio is in her kindergarten uniform

this is a better understanding in the kanon universe to create a miracle u needed to give up life and memory, this was stated by a girl in the middle of the series when makoto started to change. the girl in white dress with the robot, gave up her life and world, while in the clannad world everyone but him gave their memory from the 5 yrs Nagisa was born, so that they could have a second chance. that’s my thought on it.
