Yeah this filler was completely lame.

I understand the need for fillers….

But at least use them to expand on the current manga storyline.

Go into a side story that got glossed over too quickly.

For example…

A filler about Nel as an Espada and her relationship with Aizen would have been 1000 times better than this soccer story line.

Yeah….. Fail.

Ichogo should just boot the blond girl back through the gate as soon as he sees her. She’s nothing but a headache. Not to mention that he’s supposed to look after her when she’s in his town, and she just leaves her duties at the manor.

They do these fillers because the comics aren’t that far ahead.

I’ve just read 342 and there’s only a few fights between this and the last good episode.. they need a few weeks to kill some time and get the team animating like mad.

the past arc lasts about 11 manga chapters which maybe 5-8 episodes at the most…. and it’s a great arc so.. don’t complain

Well if they didn’t have fillers, they would have already caught up to the manga. then you would be waiting like a month for one episode. So, the filler may not be the best, but its better than
(literally) nothing.
